Looking for a one room flat in Flic en flac with 7000rs budget

WinstonH

One-room apartments are quite hard to find. Even if you do, one fully equipped with all amenities will start above Rs 10,000 monthly in Flic en Flac.

For best deals, I would suggest you go around Flic en Flac yourself and negotiate directly with owners.

I found a whole apartment beachfront in Flic en Flac for Rs  900 per day. Normally they rent at 1800 given the location.  It has 2 bedrooms, one kitchen, one living room facing the beach and 1 bathroom.  It is the best quality versus price I ever found in Mauritius. Maybe you will like it

Unless I'm mistaken, she is quoting a Rs 7000 monthly budget.

Rs 900 per day would make it way over her budget.

Hello everyone,

Furthermore, may i recommend the OP to post her search in the Housing in Mauritius section of the website ?  @ Tallha, you might receive some offers.

P.S indeed as WinstonH mentioned, Rs 7000 will be hard to find in Flic en Flac (I was personally looking for a flat in Flic en Flac and it is next to impossible. Not looking anymore! But in your case, maybe you could consider flat share if you are on a tight budget).

All the best,
Bhavna

2 bedrooms would mathematically imply that, for 1 bedroom, the pro-quota is 50% of that figure

Bhavna

Hello SpaceLand, yes, which will amount to around RS 13 500 roupies (@ RS450) Pretty expensive but is  "normal" for Flic en Flac...
