Hello!

I am a Classical Pianist holder of Licentiate and Fellowship diplomas in Music Performance - Piano. I would like to experience my piano teaching in African market or small islands.
I would like to ask if working visa are available to foreigners in Mauritius, as I heard of course priority is given to locals but in some case visa can be given if the position is not filled.
Anyone can advise if there is a music school or any institution which might hire foreigners piano teacher (contact, names or any suggestions are welcome)? Also one more question, has classical piano some demand in Mauritius for younger or even adult generations?

Hotels, schools and music academies could be openings for you, however, due to the whole Covid situation, I don't think it is the right time to look for a job in this field. Hotels are barely operating and schools are filling positions on local contracts these days.

To be able to work and live in Mauritius, your employer should fulfil some requirements.You will need either a [link under review] or an [link under review] permit.

However, you may start looking for firms, schools etc and enquire till the situation settles down.
