Floreal or Trous aux Biches

Hi!
I reaching out as we are moving to Mauritius this summer, we will be working in Port Louis and we have to options of neighborhood that we could live in: "Floreal" Big house that can accommodate a large family with large yard(Great if we have a lots of visitor , or Trous aux Biches smaller house, and close to the beach. Any suggestion, it look like that Floreal is pretty fare from the beach? Any suggestion or advise? What about traffic? Thank you for your tips

I wouldn't think too much about this: do you prefer living close to the sea or close to mountains? (small ones)

The distance between Floreal and Port Louis is almost the same as that between Trou aux Biches and Port Louis. The traffic congestion is almost the same.
All roads leading to PL are hugely congested in the morning and in the afternoon.

Floreal is a sub-urban neighbourhood located in the highlands and is cooler. Trou aux Biches is a coastal touristic town with a tropical micro-climate.

2 completely different places. Hard to advise you on a particular one. All depends on your own preferences.
