Hi
Is salary1800 inclusive of everything enough for a family of four. Good accomodation with good schools .how much can be saved if we look for 3bhk in a nice area fully furnished,Car andoutings once in a while. My daughters are both in 10th standard. Please advice.

Yes it is good salary. Normally when you take a house here you have to buy their old house hold items.You will get furnished house also but I advise you to take unfurnished house and buy the furniture as per your requirement (if you find a new building) ,for furnished house you have to pay additional KD100/150 per month. Employer should give travel allowance to India every year or medical should be free for your whole family

3 bhk house unfurnished: KD 450-550 furnished: KD 700 (approx in Salimya area where most of the Indians living)
2 bhk house unfurnished: KD 350-450 PM
Home made food+outside food+outing for 4 persons: KD 250-300 PM
Schools for two : KD 800 per year (approx)
Car : KD 80-100( Toyota corolla etc.. ) and SUV : KD 150 (approx) EMI

You can save around KD 900-1000
