Can anyone tell me how Kuwaiti universities pay for the housing allowances? If the housing allowance is KD1000, do they pay it along with the salary or is it something the university pays directly to the renter?
Also, for other allowances such as gas/transportation KD500, same question. Do they pay cash or is it something you can get reimbursed?

From my experience it is either cash to you or they provide their own accommodation.
