He knows a lot more than us but it's only due to his position, not because he's got some uncanny insight into anything special.

I cannot see him getting a 3rd term.  It's not in the constitution.  I don't think half the population could take it any more. His BS is old.  It's the same here, people simply don't believe OV any more.  And Trump's antics are so blatant and his self-enrichment so in your face, it would take an evil miracle to see Donny sticking around. 

There's quite a few Trump smoking guns it seems in the Epstein files.  Notice how quickly they tried to jump on it to push it down.  There's apparently a list of 10 co-conspirators.  Now that is interesting.  Who are they?  And is Donny in there?  We will see soon enough!   We know what he's like from lost court cases, apparent abuse of women reporters and his general demeanour/comments plus the clone wives.  He's got no shame.  And he likes them young and blond, like his daughter who incidentally is nowhere to be seen.  His SIL is making packets off being associated with Donny. It's actually obscene.

I think your hubby is right, war is on the horizon.  It's just a case of when and where.  Judging solely on news reports of incursions by Russia, it'll probably start up internationally in the Baltics.  So that's a long way from here but the disruption around Hungary and Slovakia would be extreme.   Both countries want to ally themselves with Putin so no doubt they'll try and go "neutral" and sit on the fence. They don't get off so easy, being on the "front line" bordering Ukraine and members of NATO.

As for Greenland, the US has the right to expand their bases without limit.  It's in their treaty.  He doesn't need to invade or absorb it into the USA.  He can build bases anywhere.  It's just unfortunate he tried to escalate it. I cannot see his special envoy getting much more than being politely invited for tea and little cakes if he turned up in Denmark. And seal kebabs in Greenland or pickled herring (it's nice! aka Rollmops).  Either that or being cold shouldered. Everyone in government is suddenly busy that day.
