About
I'm in my mid-60s. British (from south of London, Surrey/West Sussex actually) living just outside the burbs of Budapest (closest is District II), Hungarian wife (~30 years now!), 2 bilingual HU/UK kids (lass: 20 years old and lad: 16 years old). The older one is at Uni in HU. The other in school. Also 2 other kids from previous life aged 36 (born in NL) and the other 35 (born UK). The 35 year old was living in Japan for 2 years, New Zealand for 3 years and now lives in Ontario, Canada. The other one lives in the UK, "up-North".
My parents (RIP) lived in Australia and Fiji for years and travelled extensively. There are members of the wider family who are dual or triple nationals and come from different countries like UAE, Ireland, India, NZ.
Looks like being an expat is in our blood.
I have multiple degrees in various technical subjects (I don't normally mention it as it's not "done" in my professional circles). I've added it here because of trolls.
