I'm currently 66 and close to retirement. British (from south of London, Surrey/West Sussex actually) living just outside the burbs of Budapest (closest is District II), Hungarian wife (~32 years now!), 2 bilingual HU/UK kids (lass: 21 years old and lad: 17 years old). The older one is at Uni in HU. The other still in "trade" school (technical college). Also 2 other kids from previous life aged 37 (born in NL) and the other 36 (born UK). The 36 year old was living in Japan for 2 years teaching after Uni stints in Australia. Also in New Zealand for 3 years and now lives in Perth, WA after an 18-month stop in Ontario, Canada. The other one lives in the UK, "up-North".
My parents (RIP) lived in Australia and Fiji for years and travelled extensively. There are members of the wider family who are dual or triple nationals and come from different countries like UAE, Ireland and NZ.
Looks like being an expat is in our blood.
I have multiple degrees in various technical and business subjects (I don't normally mention it as it's not "done" in my professional circles). I've added it here because of trolls.
I do not participate in any social media except here.
