If the UK HMG doesn't care about its citizenry (of course they don't), then what are they for? - @fluffy2560
Giving corrupt mates good jobs with sacks of cash.
Chinese government is unencumbered by human rights concerns. That's problematic. But it's also unsustainable. It's the same with any dictatorship.
- @fluffy2560
A good number of democracies have far worse human rights records, especially the one doing most of the complaining about China.
I'm truly amazed anyone even thinks this is a democracy or a human rights thing, but the fact that more lowly thinks do says a lot about how effective US propaganda is on a weak mind.
This is about a battle between the old "oil wars" world and a new "cooperation in business" model where both countries benefit but nobody bombs civilians with B52s.
The US, when it finally falls, will be recorded in history as the most evil nation on Earth.
The traitor, and there's no nice word for a man who took foreign money to work against his own people's interests, deserves to die behind bars.

- @Fred
That's too easy. Put some meat on those bones please.
BTW, there are wrong 'uns everywhere humans are involved.

Now you're veering towards using the usual of one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist.
Let's go dialectic on this one. Reason it out and drop the rhetoric and emotion.

What emotions?
He took money from a foreign power to betray the people of his country.
That's fact, not emotion.
@fluffy2560
They used to hang people for crimes he did. - @SimCityAT
Hang him (Nathan Gill) for 40 thousand quid sponsored public speaking engagements, but the Chinese traitor did a lot worse and you demand his freedom.
You have to decide if treason is right or wrong. Also, a few speaking events gets you 10 years, but attempting a coup is not much to care about.
You might like to remember your posting history before you contradict yourself so badly.

I'm not SimCityAT.
Not sure why you quoted him and attributed it to me.
Another premature ejaculation of trolling perhaps?
Anyway, is Jimmy Lai a freedom fighter or a terrorist?
That's the current question for you Fred?
Btw, I'm already getting bored.
These so called, Leaders are on each other for control when TSHF.
Only one can be the supreme leader.
None of them give a ratz a@@ about the citizens of their countries.
The want a NWO with one head honcho.
If we live or die, it does not keep them awake at night.

Blame the software- I simply quoted the post.
Added. Simon's reply was aimed at you, so perhaps you might like to check before ranting.

Diversionary BS. Me no rant, you rant.
Answer the question Fredo or is it too complex?
US/UK:
New roadblocks slow US reckoning over Epstein as Europe races ahead
My schadenfreude meter was wiggling watching Ghislane Maxwell taking the 5th.
I really liked her offer to Trump - clemency and I'll exonerate you.
You're so big on doing deals, how's that working out for you Donny?
He's damned if he pardons her (she'll be considered unreliable), damned if he doesn't (she can implicate him freely).
I think he just won't respond.
If she does get pardoned, as a French citizen (through her mother) she should be on a private jet to France. France doesn't extradite its citizens.
Anyway, is Jimmy Lai a freedom fighter or a terrorist?
That's the current question for you Fred?
@fluffy2560
Neither- He's a traitor who sold out his country and people for foreigners' cash.
A freedom fighter is a bloke in Afghanistan fighting the Russian invasion.
The same man is a terrorist when fighting a US invasion.
Hang on, does that mean the US gets to define what terrorism is?
A handy situation if you are the worst terrorist nation in history.

Aw, come on, you know the answer. We're talking about Jimmy Lai.
Not the USA, not Afghanistan, not Russia (this time anyway).
It's time to put away the childish diversionary arguments Fredo.
How would you define Jimmy Lai - terrorist or freedom fighter?
Aw, come on, you know the answer. We're talking about Jimmy Lai. How would you define Jimmy Lai - terrorist or freedom fighter? - @fluffy2560
Neither, as I have explained in a way most 10 year old non-native speakers of English would understand.
Unfortunately you are trying to divert by asking stupid questions.
Is Nathan Gill a terrorist or a freedom fighter?
Yes, it's also a stupid question with no answer.
I only ask in the hope you can see what a twit you are being.

Still not answering the question.
If you don't know we can engage further.
