A good number of democracies have far worse human rights records, especially the one doing most of the complaining about China.

I'm truly amazed anyone even thinks this is a democracy or a human rights thing, but the fact that more lowly thinks do says a lot about how effective US propaganda is on a weak mind.

This is about a battle between the old "oil wars" world and a new "cooperation in business" model where both countries benefit but nobody bombs civilians with B52s.

The US, when it finally falls, will be recorded in history as the most evil nation on Earth.

I'm not trying to get one up on you. Do a bit of research and perhaps you'll reach a rational answer about Jimmy Lai.

Maybe you need to read up on negotiation skills.    It's very similar to how we should discuss things here as debate.

And of course, you didn't answer the question.  It's a very valid question.  If you don't know the answer, try analytical writing and justification about your rationalisations - Pros/Cons, Strengths/Weaknesses, Opportunities/Threats?
