The difference

Insurance that travels with you

This product is designed specifically for internationally mobile people and remains suitable when their country of residence changes.

  • No blood tests for most eligible applications

A one-minute biometric face scan, taken with your phone's camera, can replace the traditional medical exam for eligible applicants, depending on age, coverage amount, and health declarations (full conditions in the partner notices below).

  • Portable across 180+ countries

Your policy keeps working if you move to a new country, including moving back home, with no need to reapply.

  • Flexible, changeable beneficiaries

You choose one or several people, or even an entity or a trust, as beneficiaries, and can change them anytime during the policy term.

Coverage built for international mobility

Premiums are set at signature and guaranteed for the full term, with no repricing for age, inflation, or a change of country of residence. The policy can be paid in US dollars, pounds sterling, or euros, whichever currency suits your beneficiaries best.

Frequently asked questions

What is term life insurance?

It's insurance that covers a set period, from 5 to 30 years. If the policyholder dies or is diagnosed as terminally ill during that period, the chosen amount is paid to their beneficiaries. Unlike a savings-based life insurance product, it has no investment component, which keeps it simpler and more affordable.

Who can apply?

Applicants aged 18 to 69 who live outside their home country, or split their time between countries, can apply, with coverage that can run until age 80. US residents aren't eligible, and neither are some sanctioned countries.

Do I need a medical exam to get covered?

Not always. Many applicants aged 19 to 54 can complete a one-minute biometric face scan instead of a traditional medical exam, for coverage up to $750,000 under age 45, or up to $500,000 from age 45. Applicants aged 55 and over, or anyone with certain health declarations, may still be asked for a basic medical exam.

Does my policy follow me if I move to a new country?

Yes. Coverage remains valid across more than 180 countries, subject to the policy terms and applicable restrictions.

Who regulates and backs my policy?

Your policy is administered by Tenzing Pacific Services Limited, an authorized intermediary and distributor of policies issued by Unisure International Life Insurance. The whole arrangement is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom and reinsured by Gen Re, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary.
