Even if it do expires, you are still under his control.
And you would still need the permission from your employer for transfer and other things.

consider it auto renewal until you submit resignation by calculating notice period within your iqama expiry period.

When should i submit my resignation my iqama expiry is in August 2022 but my contract expires on Feb 2022. does that mean i have to submit resignation 1 month before ? because there is no notice period mention in the contract.

if notice period is not mentioned then consider the maximum notice period which is 90 days and according to that calculate date with your contract  not iqama, submit your resignation 60 days before your contract expiry so you will get 60 from your contract and 30 after contract total 90 days for your notice period.
but you employer have right in your case that he will give you 90 days after your contract finished

Alright i got your point. can you guide me how i can submit the resignation in email or through written letter ? if i submit my resignation what is my right ? i will be eligible for final exit visa or transfer to another employer ? what if my employer totally ignore my resignation what should i do then ?

Usually companies do have a format and defined process for submitting resignation you must read your company policy for that and act accordingly

you have rights to leave the job after completing your contract before that it would counted as breach of contract and you will be liable to pay 2 to 3 months salary to your company. and if iqama is still valid company can ask you to pay the balance days of iqama as well

this is something 100% dependent on your company , so all you need is to convince them

then you can go to MOL who can manage your final exit but transfer is all  into the hands of your company

I have some other confusion as well. My gosi contract will end at Feb 2022 but my written contract which is by the way only one page and is only in english no arabic will end in August 2022 so what contract should i consider the GOSI one or written?

Yes I have the same question. My official paper contract is till December 2021 but GOSI contract is till Jan2022. Which contract we should follow for the resignation.

Your written agreement/contract is the real deal.
Even if it is just one page.
Gosi is just for payment and benefits system.
Gosi is a contract in a way but if there is a hard copy of a contract then gosi will be the second thing.

gosi contract is two years but you can transfer other company after one year but make it sure you have a offer letter come from on the new employer and you can submit one month notice period for your replacement from your current employer. Second you need permission to your current employer before transferring to other company.

hi my gosi expire  and my    8 years will be finish   on march 2024  but compony always play on me so my plan is to finish only 7 years  this march 2023    its any problem on my benifits     because our company always giving deduction and play on my overtime  im not deserve this also giving work different please anyone can help question   call me 0548174290

Hi, I have something to ask .Im working 6 years already here in saudi arabia and now I signed 2 years contract in gosi, What happen if I resign in my job without completing this 2 years gosi contract? example I've only work 1 year. Is there a penalty for doing it? Hope someone can give me an answer.
