motor vehicles in Mauritius

Hi All,

M new to this forum.I might visit Mauritius on work permit for 2 years.I heard the Indian driving license is valid in mauritius.How much it costs to buy new vehicles there..including motor bike(150-250 cc) and cars.

depends on what you like

150-250cc Rs 100 and above
cars--the least cost is gmw i think, rs 498,000 on road.

here the duty is 50% on all cars,depending on cases may vary

have a nice time in mauritius, enjoy the sea, sand, sun and life above all :D

In india we can get a 200cc bike at 70-80 thousands indian rupees.So what about in mauritias..

And what is the average salary required to lead a decent life(Not luxurius) with family.

for outsiders tax is applicable for income they earned..?
