Hello Jagerbomb, welcome to Expat.com ;)

However as the subject of this forum says "New members, tell us who you are", it would be nice if you could give us a bit more extended presentation of yourself.

It will surely help you to make nice contacts on Expat.com :)

Cheers

I am going back to the UK next year with my husband and my dog, and wanting to find out which EU country would be best to 'holiday' in for the 6 months quarantine needed to enter the UK.

I'm considering Spain as an option or the Netherlands to gain a Pet Passport. I've read a whole lot about the scheme and just need to decide on the most affordable place to stay with my dog :)

Hi again Jagerbomb,

Thanks for the update! Yes I heard about this problem about pets originating from certain countries. It's really a problem for some people :(

Maybe you could browse Spain's forum as well as Netherlands forum to have a better insight on both countries?

Hope this helps you to take a decision.

Cheers
Arlette
