I've been trying to hire a car, but not having any luck with the smaller places.

I have a British photo driving licence, credit card and a business visa, does anyone know if it's possible to hire a car of one of the bigger multinational companies like Hertz or Budget with just these documents?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same photo licence but you need to have International Driving Licence too. It is available in certain post offices in the UK or can get it over by post. I may be wrong ..anyway this is what my office asked me to bring to hire a car from Hertz.
