I've noticed an increase in these. They don't talk about that business , just allude to expansion and give a number to indicate how many countries they want to move in to. It feels like sales big time, and may also be scam big time. Is this something that can be redirected or eliminated?

Hi there, :)

There have been more than 2-3 of them.  Report them and they will be deleted.

When Tom, Dick and Harry think they do business, they in fact can't do any business.

Let me use a metaphor:

The business which comes right to your feet on the beach is the debris from the luxury cruise ship that sank.
(Please quote John C. for it).

The only business you can do with debris is recycling to other recyclers. Do you want that?  :/

MLM and these kind of stuff are not welcome on Expat.com. Report these "incredible offers" and I will "incredibly" delete their accounts  :idontagree:

Please let me re-phrase it to add extra clarity as follows:

Report these "incredible offers" and I will "incredibly" delete their "incredible" accounts together with their "incredible" profiles "incredibly" fast to give them something "incredible" to remember "incredibly" well ...   :par:

I got tired of seeing it ,and unsubscribed from that particular post before I mentioned it, several of us had made comments  to the poster and we were ignored ,  Perhaps someone else will report it. It sounds like you have an idea which post I'm referring to. Next time I will report immediately.

Hi Travel, :)

To be honest, I don't know what to advise you to do first: unsubscribe or report it, but by all means report it immediately.

Even if you report something erroneously, it will be reviewed and acted upon accordingly.

We all have to keep this forum clean and do away with individuals who can't afford paid-for advertising and think that they will get customers by posting free ads in an expat forum like this.

As expats, we know life a bit more than non-expats and have absolutely no need to be presented with what such immature or desperate persons affectionately call "business opportunities", don't we?

By the way, it would be interesting to know whether expats engage in posting MLSs in this forum more than non-expats.

I happened to know an American who stayed in St. Lucia for awhile.  He liked it here because he could spam the world with Viagra discount offers with impunity.  This little island nation did not have laws for shady activities like that one at that time.

I never talked to the guy again, and by incident, I found out later he moved south to St. Vincent.

I used to be hungry to get to know expats here in the island, but not anymore, and for more reasons than low-class acts.
Shame on expats who do MLMs and similar cyber-nonsense! …
