Marrying in Germany is very difficult for foreigners, because of buerocratic rules like this.
Better marry in your home country! (Getting a foreign marriage legalized here is much easier!)

i guess im one of the lucky foreigners who got married hassle free in Germany but i do know that there has been lots of grumbling about the difficulty. it all boils down to the City you want to marry in.
