Leaving Saudi Arabia - probationary period

Hello. I have decided to leave Saudi. I am teaching American English in an American International school. I applied for the job as an ESL teacher but this is not what I have been given. The school is applying for my iqama which I have not received yet. Looking over my contract, it appears that, I will have to pay my flight home and any extra costs. What does this means and how much is it for the extra costs approximately? How long will it take to hand in my notice (I am within the probationary period) and get a letter form the principle before I can leave the country?

Any idea?

I am exactly in the same sitatuion as you are , I only arrved on the 7th of Septemeber and I am planing to leave as well . Can you please share with me your story ? How did you approach it ? is there any extra costs or anything like that ?

I totally understand your decision , i think we are dealing with the same situation , if you need anytjing , soemoen to talk or anytjing just let me know . I know it get overwhelming at the start as I am still overwhelemd and i miss home.
