Hi Mickael,

Oman is a peaceful & friendly country and the overall culture is kind and cooperative.

work culture is overall friendly. Although it varies from profession to profession we can safely say that 80% of the working force here is able to maintain work- life balance. In most of work environment setups, people are cooperative. Work pressure is less, comparatively.

The salaries, benefits, and incentives are good so that one can have Job satisfaction. The most difficult thing I have faced since starting work here is the early morning start of a work day1f604.svg. Which is of course good, when you settle down.

The biggest impression is that people here, local as well as expats, are very respectful to each other. You can seldom see any harsh exchange of words, fighting, or quarrels in the offices or streets.

One has to meet the pace of work and be supportive of other team members to fit in and I think that goes for everywhere. Sometimes you have to take the work of others but that will be appreciated, in the end.

Regards,

Asif
