Ziskakan: Lasours

On November 10 and 11, immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the world's Creole islands with Ziskakan. Harking back to the beginnings of the Creole Week, organized by the group in the 1980s, this event celebrates the culture of Reunion Island in partnership with artists and scientists. This year, a tribute will be paid to Mauritian poet and playwright Dev Virahsawmy. With the region's renowned dalons, storytellers and "fonnkésér" Marika Chapelain, Loran Dalo, Any, Ziskakan will make a grand return to "LA SOURS".

Exhibitions and cinema

Immerse yourself in an eco-responsible experience and discover the innovations transforming Moka's Smart City at the "In the Making of Sustainable Cities" exhibition, which will be held at Bagatelle Mall from November 10 to 12. Sagam 2023 International Festival

On November 17, 2023, the Nuit de la Danse will bring together dancers from all over the world for a rhythmic artistic evening. The program will showcase young dancers from Mauritius, a dynamic hip-hop performance by Kenji from Réunion Island, an intense solo performance exploring solitude by Julie Iarisoa from Madagascar, a hybrid piece mixing dance and circus from La Réunion, and finally, "Sutra" from Mauritius, a celebration of the human ability to choose between light and darkness.

Notre Futur Forum 

From November 3 to 5, the Institut Français de Maurice (IFM) will bring together a generation from Mauritius, the region's islands, East Africa and Europe around the theme "Horizons Beyond Borders". The program will include various activities, including workshops, debates, art installations, performances, and a serious game about borders. Discussions will cover a range of topics, including new academic models, youth engagement, the role of food in creation, and transcending borders, providing an exciting platform for exploration, imagination, and collective reflection.

Tipik Nou Al Sa 1st edition 

On November 25, immerse yourself in the soul of Mauritius at "Tipik nou al sa", an unforgettable musical evening dedicated to Mauritian music. You will b delighted to discover renowned artists like Clarel Armelle, Mr. Love, Yansley (Sega Nou Zanset), Daniella Residu, Ram Joganah, the Bhojpuri Boys and DJ Big Papa. More than just a concert, this event shall celebrate Mauritian culture with Sega dancers, delicious local cuisine and a warm atmosphere.

Creative Workshop with Guimero
