Linzy Bacbotte: Mauritius' sweetheart

She is one of Mauritius' most popular artists. Loved by all the singer, actor, vocal coach and entrepreneur became known by the public when she was just a child.

Linzy Bacbotte first became known through the reality shows Star 2000 and Sofe Ravann. The latter performed songs that dazzled the Mauritian public at the time. The young woman's voice quickly got noticed and she released her very first album in 1997. The album is called Sofe Linzy and includes the cover of the song Tangale which has since been a sega classic ever since. At the same time, Linzy Bacbotte also performed in hotels on the island.

Group career

The singer is appreciated for her incredible voice and her interpretations but also for her hearty laughter and her presence on stage. She performed at the very beginning of her career with the Mauravann group before going solo. These days, she surrounds herself with musicians from the group Otentik with whom she performs most often.

Versatile artist

Besides his presence in the middle of the sega in Mauritius, Linzy also appears in plays. Notably, in Starmania or Sister Act. The public discovered a whole new artist.

Gospel concert

Linzy Bacbotte also organizes gospel concerts and even released a gospel album in 2017.

Collaborations with Elijah

Over the past year, the singer has notably performed in duets with singer Elijah of Seychelles.
