Zipline accident
It was in the Domaine de Chazal, located in Chamouny that this incident took place last Sunday. On an outing with his fiancƩe, a 29 year old died when the zipline on which he was on gave into the pressure.

Publication of the accounts of listed Mauritian companies
Several major players in Mauritius' listed private sector released their quarterly accounts this week. Among them, the Mauritius Commercial Bank, Vivo Energy, MUA, Swan General or even Rogers & Co. As expected, the performance of these large companies is blamed for the health crisis of COVID-19.
Protests on February 13
This protest of political opposition and citizens is the third of its kind since August 29. It's hard to say how many people gathered in the streets of the capital last Saturday, but there were many opposition political parties, parliamentary opposition MPs and members of citizens' groups well known to the local scene.
RodriguanĀ Tour in Mauritius
In an effort to promote the Rodriguan destination during the pandemic, the Rodrigues Tourist Office is planning events across Mauritius next week. A delegation from Rodrigues is deployed on the island to give Mauritians and residents a taste of the culinary and cultural pleasures of Rodrigues Island.
