Concubinage - Common law partner registration

the document you need to obtain (either in your country of origin, or via sworn affidavit in Mauritius) is a so-called “Certificat de concubinage” (Certificate of cohabitation)

paragraph G of the above document refers to:
“unmarried partners, document proving cohabitation/civil partnership/common law partners etc is required.”

We are from the UK and both had to get a certificate of cohabitation so my partner could obtain dependent status here in Mauritius. These had to be obtained independently  so two are required and from your home country.  Hope this helps.
