Hello all. I'm a professional expat living in Bangkok, Thailand.

Yes, it's been rather... hairy since I relocated (I followed the tsunami in). It's certainly not the suburbs, that's for sure...

I just wanted to introduce myself and my blog - Women Learn Thai.

Thai is difficult because it's a tonal language. And to some, because its simplicity is hard to grasp.

But the Thai people are what makes this language great to learn. They are so much fun, so easy to talk to, it's more of a game than a hardship.
