S pass expiry while renewal

Hi all,

I have a situation here that my s pass going to expiry on 3 feb'19 whereby my s pass still under renewal

1) can I continue to stay in Singapore while waiting for renewal? Do I need to get the social visit pass myself for the stay?

2) my company mentioned the will do the extension for me while waiting for the approval but can only do 3 days before which is 30 Jan.
Is tat true? And can I travel in and out within the 30 days extensions?

There is the possibility that the company gets a temporary S-Pass to cover the period until your extension is granted. Or you can get a 30-days SVP (which does NOT allow work!) to cover the period.
An S-Pass allows multiple entries, so you can travel, but the SVP becomes invalid when you leave the country.
