1.medical required for family visit visa - For adults, yes. For children, no.
2.how many months gape between exit and re entry in Oman for family visit visa - 3 months as per the rule. But exceptions are there.
3.what is documents require for visit visa - Attested marriage certificate, spouse and children's passport copies, local sponsor's attested application form, salary proof documents, passport copies of all family members in blue background ...

My bad ...

For family joining / dependent visa, medicals reports would be required for adults.

But for family visit visa, no need for doing the medicals. Your PRO is indeed correct.
