After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members. Been an expat for almost eight years. Still, it is always nice to go back home and visit the family.

Thank you for your reply.

I lived in Spain for one year back in 1993. Costa Rica is my second round of living abroad. I did manage to visit 15 countries in Europe and have see all of the countries in Central America.

I am very proud of where I am from, but do have a desire to experience other cultures. The best way is not for a two week vacation at a resort, but to really go to the off beat places. Not only do you find some of the best deals, but I have found that my adventures are more exciting that way.
