I WANT TO DO MY POSTGRADUATE IN GYNECOLOGY . AM GHANAIAN LIVING IN UKRAINE , WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THE VISA HERE WITHOUT GOING BACK FOR VISA?

beppi

You could:
- First, learn to post in lower case characters, as all CAPITALS is seen as shouting and rude on the Internet.
- Check with the relevant authorities if your medical degree is recognised in Germany.
- Contact universities about admission criteria and formalities.
- Once you have secured a place at a university, apply for a student visa an the nearest German embassy.

they are certificates attesting to an intermediate (or better) level of German. The Goethe Institut has a lot of information about it:

I WANT TO DO POST GRADUATION MEDICAL COURSE IN GERMANY. WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE AND ABOUT COST.

beppi

Please do not post in ALL CAPITALS, because on the Internet this is interpreted as shouting and rude.
Regarding your enquiry; Please let us know which university and course you want to attend, then we will be able to tell you more.

Vashisht88

hello everyone.. thank you for sharing the experience and knowledge about the topic.. big thanks to the guys who created the website..

my questions are (and i hope to help others by asking these) :

(1) with a Chinese MBBS (done in english medium) enough to apply for post graduate in Germany?
what else do we need to clear as exams or necessary arrangements are required?

(2) i read above and saw that we must know german.. i understand we should know the language to communicate in the country, but what about the medical words in german? do we need to have a course on that? because here, we do have a specific course (apart from normal ones) only about medical chinese which teaches us medical terms in chinese.

(3) when we do postgraduate and we are at the hospital, do we get a salary or a remuneration? if yes as per your personal experience do you think its enough to pay atleast a rent?

appreciation is obvious from my part if anyone will help with these questions..but also i would be gratefull to you!!

thank you very much..

Regarding language skills, you have to distinguish between official requirements (to get a visa) and employer or job needs.
To get a work visa, no German skills are required ( but lots of other hoops to jump through). For most other visa (e.g. family, studies) basic skills are needed, but not medical German.
But employers will consider this during hiring. After all, how can a doctor do his/her job without understanding the patients?

Dr Ashish Patil

I have done mbbs in India.. I am planning to go to germany to do pg in Orthopaedics...I want to confirm the information that I got from one agency named NASC  sending me there..
1..NASC tells me that I have to paas till B1 german language in India and B2 and C1 in germany . For B2 and C1 in germany fees is 3200 euros.Duration 4 months.
2.. Then observership for 6months ..Fees 2000 euros..
3.. Orthopaedics pg  in some hospital (refused to give name) for 6 years.
4..Consultation and Visa charges Rs 5 Lakh
5.. No academic year .Join any time..
6..Temporary licence for observership. Fees 5000 euros..
7..Give german licencing exam after 18 months  of joining residency..
8. Open a Deutsch bank account of 6500 euros for my expenses during german language course and observership in Germany...
9.. Stipend during pg wiil be 3500 euros per month.

Please read this and related threads - most of your questions are already answered there.
You may also want to consult the German embassy and Goethe institute.
If you then still have more detailed queries, you may post them here. That would persuade us to reply.
