Hi,

I'm new to the forum. I moved to London 3 years ago from Poland.
My partner came from island of Dominica in the Caribbean.
I love everything about London except weather ;)

Greetings, Margot

Julien

Welcome on board Margot /  CoffeeAndVanilla!

In which part of London are you living?

Have you planned to stay in the Uk for a while?

All the best,

Julien

Hi Julien,

Thank you. Yes, for now I'm planning to stay in London, N19 :)
Before I worked for 2 years in the Caribbean on the cruise ships... that's where I met my better half. It was good time, lots of traveling and new experiences. Now it is not so easy, our daugher is 2 years old so we planning to stay here for a while... till we ready to move again :D

Greetings, Margot

Sorry, I'm so new to London (well, I live in London part-time) that I don't even know what N19 means...  can you shed any light on that?  :)

Hi Juhuacha,

Welcome to London!!
I live in North London, Holloway, between Archway and Finsbury Park :)

Julien

Wow, from what we can see in your signature you've been in quite a lot of different countries! Which one do you like the most (and why)?

Guestposter69

As you can see from my arrows quite a lot of countries is connected as it was all during my cruise ship work, we were starting trips from Miami, US or San Juan Puerto Rico and visiting different islands for over 2 years. I love island of Dominica which is beautiful and sooo nature! My partner is coming from there...
Except that I love Cozumel in Mexico, especially it's food, drinks and shops. And night life in San Juan and Miami. I would love to visit again Virgin Gorda again too! It looks like I love all places in the Caribbean....
Right now we live in London, UK and it is ok except the weather.
If we could only afford not working, or working less we will get a house at Dominica... so my answer to your question is DOMINICA! :) Because of the weather, clean air, all those fruits, and life without stress and rush!

Julien

How long do you plan to stay in the UK?

I wish you a lot of sucess in your projects!

Guestposter69

Well, not sure yet, couple of years maybe the whole life ;) If not the work we would defentely move to some warmer place...
What about you?? :D Why Mauritius? And how love have you been in UK?

Have a great evening, Margot

Julien

I came to Mauritius for a job, I received a proposal six months ago and I thought it would be a good opportunity to discover another country... (I am working as technical director for a web company)

Oh yes I loved living in London, I really miss the ambiance! I used to go out in different places every week end ... it's impossible to do the same thing where I am now. But I've found other things to do (I dive every week end)

Julien

I was just thinking about something Margot ... how many languages can you speak?

Guestposter69

I speak only Polish & English... I used to learn Spanish but since my daughter is born I don't have time for that. My partner speaks English & Creole.

Enjoy your evening, Margot
