Musicians in Mauritius

Hello everyone,
I am a musician living in Grand Bay and would like to know if there are some other musicians around who would like to meet up and just jam for fun?
I play the drums and anyone is welcome, guitar,keyboard,bass etc.
I already have a saxophone player who is interested.
We can play anything jazz, blues,rock,reggae...
I beleive there is a music production studio in Pailles where we can pay to use a room with drums and amplifiers, to jam.
Also we could find a place somewhere in Grand bay...
Let us know if you have any suggestions/ideas??

I will be moving to Mauritius only in Sep, I play the bongos and congos and I am game for a jam up.

Hi John

I am interested in setting up a art and music center in Mauritius. This will include: Recording studio, rehearsal rooms, possbly music shop, art gallery and small theatre.
Do you have any advice on where would be the best place.
