Pre employment test

Ekni29

Hello, recently I moved to Saudi Arabia. I Had to do my pre employment medical and my urin was tested for drugs. Before coming here I took intramuscular injection for back pain which is very common and legal in my country. Naklofen, deksamethazon and diazepam. It seems to be a problem with my medical now cause probably they detected it through urin and as I read, it can stay in urin for weeks (diazepam). Can they deport me Because of that and can my medical be failed? What should I do in this kind of situation? I didn’t know this was banned here nor did I know they check for it in medical.. im not a chronical user of any medications I only take it while I have a back pain or smth Like that…

@Ekni29 You can try explaining to them or show them your doctors prescription or medical records for when you take the medicine. The pre-employment medical test is mostly for the medical insurance anyway which is required for the processing of Iqama. So yes, you can be sent back if you cant pass the medical test.
