Hi,

I have to make a final exit from Bahrain as I am going to my home country but I have an outstanding personal loan here in Bahrain. I have been paying all my installments on time and never missed a single installment and I will be still paying my personal loan from my home country. Can the bank impose a travel ban on me if I try to exit the country or stop me from exiting Bahrain on receiving the end-of-service benefits from my current company?

XTang

As long as the loan is current i.e. they haven't filed a case for recovery, there is no grounds for a travel ban or anything of that sort.

@XTangGuys I have have been in Bahrain for two year plus and am now working with Talabat on self sponsor visa. I got a traffic accident in traffic lights and I was fined 1000Bhd and my lawyer requested court payment in instalment and lucky enough judge accepted it. And I have been paying 100 bhd each month for 5 months then last month of May, company motorcycle was stolen from my room parking and I made police report. But company asked me to pay them 900 bhd for that motorcycle. Company said it will deduct from my salary until payment is settled. They have my passport and told me that only I will get it if I settle motorcycle money. Am working in Talabat where by we aren't paid salary. We only earn when we work.

Last month I didn't work because motorcycle was stolen and company refused to give another motorcycle. I have missed two months without paying court fine instalment. And I went to court and requested court to reduce instalment amount to 50 bhd since I will need to also pay company stolen Motorcycle but court rejected my request.

Guys I cannot pay 100 bhd to court and same time pay company stolen Motorcycle and still manage to rent another motorcycle to use in delivery.

I requested company to give me passport and get loan from finance institution but company refused. I don't have money and am not working, and I have to cover court fine every month. And still cover stolen Motorcycle money .

The fact is that am completely stuck with no any hope.

Guys you're my last hope. Help me regardless 🙏

I think I answered you before. The bike belonged to the company I believe so I don't think you have a case there.  I suggest to get in touch with charity organizations to help you settle your issues.

@XTang  On same issue My company is terminating me simply because I took my passport from them through police station.

I was called and asked to return the uniform and they had assigned me another motorcycle to use and asked me to return it back and I did as they said, so am not working now since they took uniform and work equipments but my ID is still active. And I signed a paper for payment plan for stolen Motorcycle.

Now I want to if I

Can go against them for terminating me without a notice ??

If they open a case against me for stolen Motorcycle, will I have to pay??

Thanks

Again you keep asking the same question from different angles.  What you need is a lawyer.  No one here knows all the details of your case and your contract etc.  Get a lawyer.
