That's bad plastic surgery.  Really, what happened to growing older gracefully?  It could have been elegant, not fake.

One of my relatives had plastic surgery.  We all asked "Where's X?  And what have you done with her?".   Permanent look of surprise.  But it was years ago and now it's all dropped back.  It was a face that had been lived in. One cannot fight nature aka gravity - it will always win eventually.

Yes, I read that.  I bet she didn't pay $1M.  Probably given gratis in exchange for butt kissing.

Meanwhile, he's always looking like he's got a scowl on these days.  What  does he know?

...I'm not a misogynist but Mrs Dell looks like she should be suing her plastic surgeon. It's not really helped her or done whatever it was intended to achieve.

I can see she opted for topographic silicone implants, at least on the left.

Barbra Streisand could sing. I don't know what Mrs Dingly Dell can do. - @fluffy2560

Flautist?

First off, wrong hairstyle for that schnoz.

A softer look would help at ton.

Perky chest though!

Poor thing, really to feel she needed to go plastic to hang with plastic people.

I am still pissed at my fake SIL, hubbies bros wife;

No secret I had laser skin refreshing on my upper lip and just under by eyes, IDK, at 50?

Was only $500; here in Budapest then and I thought why not;

Working in casinos and having hundreds of people looking into my face close up daily was a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall I could care less but such a deal, only $500;

My SIL I found out recently was telling anyone who would listen that I had plastic surgery What a jack arse!

Hardly that, more like a bad sunburn.

Trump is getting scary, I did not pay much attention to him last term but I wonder if they are using a clone now, so insane.

Susan Dell - before and after...(apparently). it looks like something has gone wrong. Very wrong.

But what do I know? I usually repair my cars, not faces. And I'm not good at bodywork.  If she needs filler, rubbing down, spray painting and polishing, I'm absolutely not the person to call.  But I can weld, grind and plasma cut and use paint to cover up bodging.

Hmmm...maybe the same as her plastic surgeon? Or as a Trump supporter,  she's finally revealed she's actually part of the lizard cabal - V style.

It's not Ozempic.  It's plastic surgery gone wrong. Maybe OD'd on Botox.

Apparently this style is also called Mar-A-Largo face.

People have said it is typical of the 60+ billionaire crowd that hangs around there.

But it was a good tip to see what the real Lizard Folk are up to.

Barbra carries it much better - she did well to carry that larger schnozzle.   I always wondered why she cannot spell Barbara correctly.  But she can certainly sing.  Well, could.  Dunno about now.

Trump is not a clone. He could be an early model robot.

I've just finished reading a book about robots ("Klara and the Sun"). The action takes place in a parallel timeline - I assumed that anyway.  There are other societal values that are odd or out of kilter with our world cum timeline.    Anyway the robot "hero" (Klara) in the book is clearly a lot smarter than DJT.  And weirdly the robot is more empathetic to humans than the humans around "her" are to each other.   That's perhaps the message.   Doomsters are saying we will destroy ourselves with AI.  Perhaps the robots deserve to inherit the Earth.

Anyhoo, a face that's been lived in is more interesting than one that is faked up.  I could do with some plastic surgery but if I looked in the mirror would it still be me? I always wondered what it would feel like to wake up with a different face - the old vice-versa body swap script/theme/story.  How much of our identity is bound up with how we look?   For Susie Dell, clearly it's more about how others perceive her.  Otherwise why bother?

Hmmm....questions that needs more thought.

Viet Nam (ITN):

I watched this news footage from 1975 about the Viet Nam war.

I was a teenager in 1975 and I remember this going on. I remember the escape of the final helicopter from the US embassy.

The section on the kids evacuated was intriguing.  I would like to know what happened to those children. It would be good to see a follow up - there's some information here.

Yes, Simon is another one with Lizard face.Micky Rourke also brings on nightmares.

My now deceased older Vegas friend, Mona had plastic surgery done .

I had no idea for years that she got twicked every coupld of yeers with what she called a half surgery, just the lower half of her face.

She wore her hair in a style that covered it up very well.

She had been smashed in the head with a clawhammer by her ex and her head was split open, brains coming out; I never liked to stare at her in detail, just rude to try and see any scares etc.

She was not a lizard but these folks defo are!

I had an odd dream a week ago or so.

I always have weird dreams.

I had my own facial features but I had med black skin and hair done in cornrows.

Was looking at myself in a mirror then woke up. All good, beauty is only skin deep after all.

It's very difficult with looks.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  I don't call out people injured as part of the Lizard Overlords Cabal.   It's not their fault.

I've been suffering from mild insomnia for a few years and the strangest thing is that I am hardly dreaming about anything.   Or at least I cannot remember the dreams.  I used to be able to sleep for England.  Nodding off under all circumstances was my super power.  No longer.  I don't think it's healthy not to dream.

Maybe your dream is like a historical memory from past lives?   I find my dreams - if I have one - are usually some variation on what I've been doing or seen during the day.  From what I've read it's just re-ordering memories in auto mode.

One thing I thought quite interesting is that a dream might seem to take hours in time but actually it's really short - just seconds.  The brain is a strange thing. Oh, and btw, Klara in the book I mentioned spends her "off-hours" reordering her memories - I think this is a hint to say the robot/android is dreaming.  That goes back to that other story "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep"  which is the plot of Blade Runner.

Speaking of robots/androids, it looks like Trump the robot was rattled by Obama and the Cheesecake factory/White House comparison.  Trump's taste is what I would call tacky, kitsch and numerous other descriptions.  Obama stuck the boot in further.  Trump said Obama was stupid.  Yes, Donny, you vs Juris Doctor Obama.

Saw some clips last night where 60 or so countries are telling their citizens to stock up for 3 days to a week.

WTH??

No one can stock up for what is coming if these idiots in power have their way.

Too bad my bro has passed, he told me several timmes he is ready for anything, set better then seal team6 on a mission.

He gave away his machine guns before he passed to his step- son and our 2nd cousin.

I wouldn,t of minded if he left his 38 or M-16 to me!

That is the only way anyone can prep for what they say is coming.

No fear,I find it sort of funny;

Making those who can not afford things feel afraid and those with money forcing them to spend.

If they really lost their minds and nuked the world, what would be the point of going on?

My husband said they have weapons they can drop that take out every living thing but leave the buildings in tack.

Getting ready to remove us and bring in alien life??

Can not make this BS up.

Of course, we in Europe are limited on our prepping as regards guns.   I've been in two minds about if we should stay here and defend the house or we should simply leave.  I think the best option is not try and spend any resources defending the place.  We can rebuild but we cannot replace us if the Russians are in the street shooting everyone up.  So we should go and not worry about stocking up.  We of course, have a HU military base on the hill overlooking the village.  We're a major target. Couple of significant hospitals too.

It's 250km to Austria and neutral territory.   In theory we could get there in 3h but everyone else will have the same idea. 100km queue at the border which would in all likelihood be closed.  There's also Slovenia and Croatia - try to get to the sea.

Your hubby is referring to the Neutron bomb.  That kills all living things but leaves everything else standing.  What is very different now  to previous wars is drone warfare.   This is a game changer but while it clears ground, it cannot actually hold it.  Politicians who were not in the military do not understand that.  The other side can deny ground as well.

Indonesia works with the UK, US, China, Russia, and pretty much everyone else  but we don't bomb people,  don't remove democratic governments, and don't supply weapons to kill civilians. That means we have few enemies except those trying to remove our government because we are too aligned with China.

The UK and EU supply weapons to kill Russians so, as part of the supply chain, you made yourselves legitimate targets.

If prepping is required because your governments are stupid, dump your governments.

It's 250km to Austria and neutral territory. - @fluffy2560

My point exactly.  Many here are supportive of supplies to Ukraine,  blame Russia for not liking you supplying the weapons to kill their people, but are planning to run away as soon as the war mentality destroys your country.

Why not just become neutral so you don't have to run away?

As usual, more simplistic rambling repetitiveness.

Anyway, changing the government is difficult here. I'm just one person and I'm not a citizen and I don't have a vote.  Same for Marilyn.

In any case, we have a new'ish government.  The people have spoken.

Oh, and NATO member Hungary does not supply weapons to Ukraine or Russia (under sanctions anyway).  It was the policy of the previous administration and I believe it continues now - at least in the short term.   The only thing that is different recently is HU is now taking part in the SAFE loan scheme with the EU for re-armament.

Not simplicity,  actual conditions in many countries that support peaceful trade instead of war.

As for Hungary,  it unblocked €6.6 billion in EU reimbursements to compensate other European member states for weapons and ammunition they supplied to Ukraine.

In other words, Hungary is complicit in killing civilians.

But the democratic governemt was overthrown in a coup and there hasn't been a free election since.

However, if you accept the principle of sending weapons to defend countries invaded by aggressive forces, I assume you will call for the EU and UK to send weapons to Iran.

It's not true. It's for modernisation. Says so quite clearly. Doesn't say anything about reimbursement. Absolute twaddle.

Making stuff up just makes you look like someone with a mental health issue or simple thinking. If you want to post something with verified trustworthy sources, that would help you have credibility. And I don't mean random YouTube commentators and conspiracy theorists.

With that, maybe someone will read your output. Most of the time we all skip over it.

Prime Minister Péter Magyar's cabinet lifted a veto on partially reimbursing EU countries for weapons they send to Kyiv, reversing a two-year blockade caused by the previous government of Viktor Orbán.
The change in policy was announced on Monday by Hungary’s ambassador to the Political and Security Committee, the Council body overseeing security and defense policy, an official in the room at the time told POLITICO. The decision was confirmed by five additional EU diplomats.

It looks pretty true. Still, like Trump, if you repeat the lie often enough,  you may convince some people.

That was ages ago immediately post-Orban.

That's a different pot of money to the one I was referring to.  Everyone here has moved on from Orban.  Apart from the web tightening around his web of corruption.

At least do try to be topical otherwise we'd end up discussing debt and reworking complaints about the Boer war. It's like your constant bleating and whinging of coup nonsense in UA. It is simply not that interesting because the current reality on the ground there is what is important. I support Zelenskyy 100% and I always will. There's no convincing argument he is not fighting for us all.

No-one here other than you is a Putin supporter amd apologist.  If you are such a fan, why not go there and join the Russian Army?  I am sure they have a place for you headbutting UA drones.

I support Zelenskyy 100% and I always will. There's no convincing argument he is not fighting for us all.
- @fluffy2560

You support an unelected leader? So much for your pretense of being a fan of democracy.

You do realise there has never been a free and fair election since the coup, don't you?

If you maintain there has been, simply post the date and details.

I know you can't because there hasn't been one.

Zelenskyy won the elections that were held. He IS the recognised President of Ukraine. That's just a fact. Same as Putin is in charge of Russia despite fake elections there. It's a fact. Get over it.

It really doesn't matter what you say about it does it?  No good replaying worn out arguments cum histrionics when reality is something different. It simply does not advance the discussion one bit.

If you started blathering your nonsense in a negotiation between the parties you'd be outside clearing bins and mopping down the toilets within a few minutes. Or better put on a bus to Siberia.

I've come to the conclusion is you are actually quite a simple fellow and one that is easily manipulated.

.....and AGAIN!!

Ukraine has held two nationwide presidential elections since the 2014 revolution, both of which were monitored and validated by international observers:

1. May 25, 2014 – Snap Presidential Election

• Winner: Petro Poroshenko won in the first round with 54.7% of the vote.

• International Assessment: The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) characterized the election as showing "clear resolve to guarantee fundamental freedoms" despite significant security challenges and disruptions caused by hostile forces in eastern regions.

2. March 31 & April 21, 2019 – Presidential Election

• Winner: Volodymyr Zelenskyy won the second-round runoff with 73.22% of the vote, defeating the incumbent, Petro Poroshenko.

• International Assessment: OSCE/ODIHR election monitoring reports concluded that the election was competitive, well-administered, and that fundamental freedoms were generally respected, validating the results as a genuine democratic transfer of power.

Why Elections are Suspended in 2026

The presidential election originally scheduled for March or April 2024 was postponed. Under Article 83 of the Constitution of Ukraine and the country's national legislation, all national elections are explicitly prohibited while martial law is in effect.

The Ukrainian parliament (Verkhovna Rada) has continuously voted to extend martial law due to the ongoing full-scale Russian invasion. To avoid a power vacuum during an existential war, Article 108 of the Ukrainian Constitution dictates that the incumbent president retains official authority and remains legitimately in office until a successor can be safely elected and sworn in after martial law is lifted.
