My question: How do I send them updated documents ??? Is it possible?

it's best to wait for the Belgian embassy to request additional documents.I also applied in November is still pending Abidjan if they’re in need of any extra documents, is either you get an email from them or an email from TLS

One application, which took 7 months to process, was approved with a request for additional documents, while the other was approved without requesting any additional documents.

Mine is still in processing just hoping and praying everything goes smoothly for me

because if they request for extra documents they mostly extend the dates

During my own application process, additional documents were requested, but approval was received two days later. The same situation applies to the application that took 7 months; additional documents were requested on February 15, 2026, and approval was received two days later, on February 17.

was it an email that you received about the approval or you saw it on  ibz page

I don't know about other applications, but in my case, the IBZ page changed to "agreement," but the children's application is still showing as "documents pending" in IBZ. The children's visas arrived via email from VFS saying they were transferred, but then the VFS page changed again saying they were transferred to the application center. It's a bit confusing. 😅

Congratulations, what was he regisration date for your application in IBZ ?

1. VFS stated on June 26, 2025, that the IBZ date was July 29, 2025. 2. They did not share the IBZ date for the application dated September 1st. These are applications from Türkiye. In my application dated May 15, 2025, the IBZ date is June 3, 2025, and the agreement date is November 10, 2025.

They asked for document shows you have insurance and another document shows your insurance cover your partner/spouse. I remember I had already submitted these documents during application, but we've sent them again.

Hello Everyone,

If someone wants to make a family reunification application.  Sponsor lives in Belgium. The sponsor currently live in a studio but just signed a contract for 2 bedroom accommodation starting in 6 month's time to cover for the family when they arrive. Would that be accepted as proof of accommodation or sponsor will have to wait until they move into the new accommodation before initiating the process? Thanks

Hey guys, My 6-month process was supposed to be completed on March 9. However, today they requested a police interview and scheduled an appointment for March 10. In your opinion, how many days after the interview would the visa decision be issued? Thank you for your response.

Why don’t you wait like how you’ve been waiting for them to give the final answer because assume someone tells you that in 10days and after that you don’t get the responses you’ll be disappointed.

But I know two people who applied for family reunification on the 14th August 2025 but got rejected on the 2nd of march 2026

My gf go to police interview today and they said we gonna decised until 2 may. It is our wedding day we get from city hall. I was applied at 9 march

Btw if someone need it i have all the questions about police interview as pdf.

They haven’t received an email yet but their table shows rejection I’m sure by the close of this week they’ll get an email

I received my single work permit renewal last week. In February my wife applied for her residence card renewal (family reunification) on the commune website. After I received the Annex 46 we sent it to the commune and they included it in her application. Right now she has an Annex 15.

I have a few questions:

- The commune has not shared any receipt of the application, file tracking number, etc. Is that normal?

- For my single work permit renewal I was able to log into the ibz website and track my application. Is there something similar for family reunification visa renewal.

- Has anyone recently received the family reunification visa renewal approval? If yes, how long after your spouse received the Single work permit did you get it?

- When my single work permit application started processing I received a privacy notice. Will my wife receive something similar?

Timeline:

- Family reunification renewal application date: Feb 4

- Single work permit renewal: March 17

Anyone got their approval for family reunification recently? could you please share your timeline. Its so stressful to wait.

The latest application deadline I heard of is September 19, 2025, and the approval date is March 25, 2026. It takes about 6 months.
