Can I ask what your occupation is?

@Sadegh Darvishi When did ur permit expired and when was your single permit application filed? Was your work permit approved from work authorization? If that is the case you should have taken annex49 from the commune. Without any legal document you are considered to be an illegal person here atleast that is what I have heard.

At the end of October, they didn't give me any papers, I went to the city hall, and they said you need to wait for Brussels.

For some people that give directly annex 46.

@Sadegh Darvishi I guess you can appeal for your decision? Try talking to immigration lawyer. So what next for you? Is it that you go back to your country and then come back?

They said you have to go back and wait for the decision, and it's 50.50 to be approved.

I studied here, worked without interruption, and got my Vast contract that met the condition they say; I then that says go back, such a shame.

You should have received your WP in Dec-Jan. I know sometimes applicants are not notified regarding WP, they are just informed about WP and PR in the same time.

Update annex 46: 8.02.2023

I just have a question if some one can help me in the visa application there is a box for how long I will stay in belgium? I don't know what I should write there as I have an open ended contract

I am sorry to hear this.

You should have applied for an orientation year card. I did that first and waited for my single permit to be released. Besides, during the waiting time, my employer did not allow me to start working until my single permit was approved.

It would be nice if your employer could appeal on your behalf.

It took longer than expected as new documents were asked from me:

26 Jan: Additional documents requested

13 Feb: Documents submitted

14 Feb: Annex 46 sent to Employer from Immigration

15 Feb: Got Annex 46 in the mail.

I tried another place this day and again it didn't happen😅😅

My husband is coming on a dependent visa. We will reach Belgium on 25 March. He is in process of an interview with a company in Belgium. If he gets the offer what documents do we need to provide before we receive the residence permit?

This is my first application here. I am a student in Belgium and got a traineeship at the European Commission.
