Does anyone received a feedback from authorities to provide "a declaration of honor" to allow the authorities to visit your apartments for inspection because a contract implies working partially from home?

My work permit on Brussels region already approved and I am waiting for my resident permit.

Can any one let me know whether Brussels immigration office would work on during Christmas and new year eve or I should wait till next year ?

Hi guys, here my Annex 46 finally was accepted!


Region: Flanders
Application: 30th August
Work Permit: 16th November
Annex 46: 17th December

Good luck and just be patient.

Applied work permit by 15Oct.
Work permit approved -25 NOv(got deleted due to some missing docs)

Resident permit -waiting

No ,  applied from abroad and not staying in Belgium currently

Anyone got their work permit approved who applied after 4th Oct?

i called them on friday they said they are processing the applications from the 4th of october

What does it mean ? I mean from 4th of october means after 4th of october till now? I have applied 25th of october so that means they are processing my application as well?

hi everyone, anyone knows if the imigration office will close during the holidays? If yes, does anyone knows for how long?

They re not closing the entire Office. They are closing on christmas and new year but most of the staff will be on holiday so processing time will affect.

My first ever single permit was filed on 22 November, 2021 in Brussels by my Employer and then due to Medical Certificate Issue I have to submit again a new Medical Certificate on 30 November, 2021. My Employer informed me that on 13 December, 2021 this is the last status updated by Authorities on Single Permit Portal - 

"After examination of the above-mentioned request, submitted on 22-11-2021, I inform you that the request is complete and therefore admissible. We can therefore continue processing the content of your request.

Please accept, Madam, the assurance of my highest consideration"


Could anyone kindly brief how long does it takes currently to get the Work Permit Authorization followed by Immigration since I am an Indian by Nationality and based in Italy. I also need to apply for  D Visa and its taking a very long time then expected.

Initially, I was informed by Employer that usually it takes max 3 to 4 weeks but now there is no response from Authorities since they don't replies to emails as told me by my employer and only update everything on Portal.

I dont know, when i called the office, they told that i havent any application. But at this time the office send an email to sign a procuration by my owners.
I don't know.
If there is not any application, why they send to sign the procuration ?!

Congrats Vicky !, at least you got your work permit in a shorter time than the other.

Maybe at the end of January,  we all can be in Belgium.

It is the holiday season (Christmas) nothing will happen until the new year.

Hello My Application was submitted on 22 Nov 2021 initially in Brussels then correct medical certificate was submitted on 30 Nov 2021 and I got confirmation that my application was accepted for further processing on on 13 Dec 2021.  How much time usually it takes for approval of both work authorization and single permit issue for Brussels region ? Can you kindly share as per your experience ?

Would you please say what was the problem of your medical certificate? I got it from the doctor and she said no embassy approval required. Is it right? I haven't still send it to my employer.

Usually the list of approved doctors are somewhere on the VFS website. You will see the names of the doctors approved for each country.
