Good Conduct Certificate for Self sponsorship missing documents

You can contact NPRA on 17399712, explain the matter and request for the letter. They will help you.

Before Covid, you had to take a letter from them in person.  Now you need to contact them via the below details:

For those that do stumble upon this post, I'll provide additional details.

I emailed the self sponsorship NPRA email at Self.Sponsorship@npra.gov.bh requesting this form. They responded within 30 min, with a pdf file to fill in.  Very basic information, it took 3 min to fill in. I replied to the email attaching the filled-in form, and the NPRA endorsed it within 15 min.
All said and done within 1 hour.

Yep the self sponsorship section is pretty efficient in customer dealing.

Well I didn't get through on the email but they did answer the phone +973-17399712 promptly.  As all said, they are very efficient once you get through.  The NPRA person provides his/her email to which you send a passport copy.  He/she sends you a pdf CID form (which unfortunately I'm unable to download on this site) which you are required to complete using Adobe fill/edit option. Returned the form asap and received the final stamped CID letter within minutes which now has to be taken to Main Traffic Office in AlAli along with copies of your passport, CPR and residence visa.  Will update you when I finish this.

I had a similar problem.

NPRA gave me a CID form for applying online. But it was impossible for me to request a good conduct certificate online, because I didn't have eKey, and no CPR to get one.

I contacted CID office in Muharraq and they told me that they don't issue good conduct certificates for people who do not have a residence permit.

Finally NPRA told me that I could apply without the good conduct certificate, and it went through.

Maybe your situation is similar. Ask them.

As of now, Ekey is not required for applying if you are outside Bahrain at the moment. If you never had a residence in Bahrain they cannot issue a Good Conduct Certificate because you were never a resident.

For Applying for a visa in LMRA. You do not need a good conduct certificate.

Good conduct certificate is for people who have a residence visa and for longer than a certain period of time.    If you don't fit that criteria, you will not get a good conduct certificate.

For self sponsorship, the good conduct should be given from the country that you are currently resident or living in.
