Hi

We are thinking of visiting the beautiful island of ile aux cerfs. Does anyone know how much to expect to pay to get there including lunch? I came across a website mentioning boat trip Rs 250 and excursion including transport and food @ Rs 800. Are these prices correct? If anyone have any idea please let us know.

Many thanks

Hi Neave,

I am currently in the UK but feel I can advise you on your question.  I am good friends with the 'Dardenne' Family who have been the longest standing boat excursion company operating trips to and from the Island and also provide lunch services on a separate island for some freshly grilled Fish, lobster and Chicken.  If you really want to push the boat out you can also visit the waterfalls and go for a swim whilst the boat waits for you.

The whole excursion above can cost around Rs800-1000 but if you are only going to the island and back then I would think Rs250-300 should be ok.

Hope this helps,

Mishal :-)
