Hi Collin

Would you be able to give some advices to my husband by messages as he Needs some reassurances from you as to how to reside in inauritius..

He thinks he could do his residence permit prior to arrival to mauritius. I have explained it has to be done in Mauritius. As mauritian citizen married to British. We are in the UK.

This has to be done in Mauritius as he has to present himself at the Passport & Immigration Office (Spouse Section). There's a logical reason to it: the spouse is granted residency if he/she is in Mauritius and wants to stay here.

Interested. As a UK citizen married to a UK wife who has dual nationality with Mauritius( her parents are born and bred Mauritian ), would I be eligible for residency ?
