I know this has been asked several times and we have tried all remedies posted here so would really appreciate any clarity that can be given if at all.
For background of what has happened:An employee had an issue with his sponsor who took over his business and lack of paperwork held him as employee and not owner. The case was fought in court for 2 years and he lost the case as expected due to lack of paperwork. In the meanwhile his resident visa had expired and despite of asking in the court regarding it,he was given no answer.Anyway was asked to pay a certain amount by the court in lieu of the case which was done and he approached the ministry of manpower to cancel his visa. The said they wouldn't and couldn't until the sponsor came and cancelled it himself. The current issue is the sponsor refuses to pick up the phone or come and cancel. So as per the advises given here,he approached the Indian embassy who in turn asked him to go back to ministry of manpower with a letter from the embassy requesting cancellation. The ministry of manpower has refused to accept the letter because the sponsor is not coming forward to cancel the visa and have asked him to go to court with his grievances. The embassy says they can do nothing in this situation. It feels like a never ending cycle with no result. Is there a solution to this? Please don't say negotiate because he doesn't really have anyone to sit for negotiating nor does he have the money to pay any more lawyers.
