Hello Experts,

I am an expatriate from India in Oman having the residence status completing 1 month now. I would like to bring my wife on and off here.

My query is "If the company provide the family joining visa" and she comes to Oman and back to India. Is there any mandatory minimum time period that she must to enter back to Oman otherwise it will cancel the family joining visa in the validity duration of family vis.

Hi aasishv,

Much earlier on, at some point, a cut-off date of 'return by 3-months' was needed to keep the residency status live.

Somewhere along the way, the rules were relaxed enough for the dependent visa holder to 'return every 2-years to renew' their residency status !

What is the exact timeframe now is something only your company PRO can ascertain.
