Your family comes in on a tourist visa.
They do their medicals
Documents to have: birth certificates, marriage certificate, 4 passport photos + bank cheque for Rs5,000 per dependent.
You take them to EDB (bring a copy of your permit)
File the application and wait for the permits

I have a couple of queries.

- Can I apply for the dependent visa right after her arrival in Mauritius. For example- If she gets 60 days visa stamped, Shall I apply the dependent visa in the starting or at the end of the Visa period.

- If I give a letter inviting her on my occupation permit/national ID, do I need to declare the funds in my bank account ?? or she has to show her funds ?

Yes, you can apply anytime. In fact, the sooner the better.
No, you don't need to declare funds on your bank account. She also doesn't need to show funds, except if she is asking for a simple 'extension of visa'. No proof of funds are required for request of Professional Occupation Permit, nor for dependends.

Hi again Nadeem. I was away for 2 years . Came back again to Mauritius on a 2 years occupation permit. I have a couple of queries .

1.  Is the process still the same for sponsoring spouse and child for dependent visa.

2. Do they need to quarantine in Mauritius when they arrive. Wife is vaccinated. Infant obviously isn't.
