Good Day Expats!

Hi I am an Saudi Expat living here in Jubail. I am planning to visit my relative this coming Eid Holiday this August 2018 (one week tops). The thing is my passport will be expired this December 2018 which leaves me with 4 months passport validity.
Will I be granted a visa when I get there?
Does anyone experience this kind of problem? Your response is highly appreciated.

Thank you!

As per the requirements, it must be valid for 6 months.  However, practically, I have not seen issues.  The driver I use for my weekly commute between Bahrain and Saudi, is a Saudi iqama holder and he was getting visa on arrival even 10 days prior to expiry.  But they know him as he does 2-3 trips across the causeway every day so he is not perceived as an overstay risk.

As is always the case in this part of the world, application is not that strict but that doesn't mean it won't be applied to you.  Better to be safe than sorry.
