Permis de sedere - Moving to another city

Hello all,

Long story short, I would like to move to another city as i cannot find a suitable job where I live atm with my wife & child.

Unfortunately, she doesn't want to move with me because she already has a very good job and our child already is accustomed to the life there e.g. school, friends, etc.

The question now is...
Is it possible to move without her? If so, from what I understand, I need to change my permis de sedere. Would this be doable?

P.S.: I've been living in Romania for almost 7 yrs now
