Dependent Visa to be applied for Indian Citizen in UK

Hello All,

I have applied for Belgium Work Permit and dependent Visa for my husband. But my husband has to travel to UK on work visa even before my WP arrived.
Can you please suggest how my husband can get his Visa for Belgium if he is in UK (Indian Citizen) and I am in India. Can he get Dependent Visa from Indian Embassy in UK?

In India, did you already submit visa application for you and your husband ?

When you receive the WP and are ready to submit the visa application, if your husband will be residing in the UK, it will not be possible for him to apply for dependent visa along with your application in India. You may have to apply your visa first, wait for your visa to arrive, enter Belgium, establish residence, get residence permit (ie, complete all the initial registration formalities) and then your husband can apply for a visa in the Belgian consulate in his country of residence (UK) with all supporting documents you will provide.

The easy and straightforward way is for him to be in India and you both apply for your Belgian visas at the same time.
