New Beginning

Hi Guys,

hope you can help me out, we are moving to Belgium next year, and we have a few questions.

1. I'm am going to work in Brussels-Louisa
Where is the best place to stay? We are more country people and not so much into the city living. So we are looking for a nice small quite little town.

2. What is the cost of living in Belgium? Food, Communications, transport ect....

Any nice site that you can recommend for rentals of properties. Looking for something with a garden as we are bringing along our pets.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Regards

Simon McDonald

Hi NB,

For out of town, pet friendly places, I would recommend.

Tervuren
Vossem
Moorsel
Everberg
Overijse
Duisburg

Or have a look at this google maps page - and look at the square between Kraainem, Oud-Heverlee, Ottenburg and Hoeilaart.
Expat areas - more rural

And I would look at this Brussels Classified Ads site and this Homes for Sale or Rent site.

Also go here for Belgium News, Local Events, etc etc

I hope that Helps.
Simon
