Running an online/eBay business from Spain

Does anybody have any experiences of making a living out of online retail from Spain? I currently run an eBay store selling art prints and would love to relocate to Catalunya. I have checked the postage charges for sending packages abroad on the Correos website and they appear to be over double the cost of sending a package from the UK to Spain.

On similar forums I have seen posts that state that the prices are cheaper at the local Correos offices. Is there anybody out there that could offer any advice?
