We are looking to buy or set up a small semi retirement business in Andalucia we can operate 6 months/year to keep ourselves busy - ideally something like a small gift shop as we know nothing about running bars, restaurants. Any suggestions welcomed.

Ed. I suggest you do a search on google etc to see how many, a lot, are unemployed in Andalucia
I believe those numbers even as bad as they are, they do not include school leavers who have never had a job nor those who are long term unemployed
