I applied for ajob which was advertised on the site,the guy is asking me to pay 1/4 of the expenses through certain agent but should not contact the embassy for its confidential.advice me is it genuine?

It is a scam. And as they are asking you not to contact the Embassy this assures me it is a scam. Please contact the Embassy and give them the details of this scam so that no one else gets caught by them.
