Family visit visa for Oman. Also want to obtain tourist visa for dubai

Hi all,
I would be calling my parents to oman on a family visit visa
However I want to take them to dubai via road
How do I get the visa for dubai
I need their oman visa valid because they will fly out to india from Oman
So in short the route would be
From India to Oman
From Oman to dubai (via road)
From dubai to Oman (via road)
From Oman to india

I don't think that would be possible. If your parents enter Oman on a visit visa and exit to UAE , they'll need another visa to re-enter Oman.

There are two problems to this

1. Indians dont get on-arrival visa in Dubai (unless you work in a profession deemed to be acceptable for visa on arrival, and since your parents will not be residents in Oman, they wouldnt be eligible for this)
2. Dubai and Oman are two separate countries, so exiting out of any of them will cancel out single entry visas

A solution to this could be,

Arrange for a Dubai tourist visa via Emirates / Etihad / Any tourist company in Dubai and meet your parents in Dubai,
finish off the Dubai trip and then enter Oman. Also it would be wise to check whether visit visas are OK to enter via
road, immigration bureacracy might be dumbfounding sometimes.
