Residence for non-EU citizen married to UK citizen

Hello everyone,

I would really appreciate your response.

I am a non-EU citizen married to UK citizen registered in Romania. My husband is working here since February I joined him recently. I am just wondering what documents I need to apply and is it easy to get this residence as I am not working at the moment and we are still living in Hotel

We also found this info, which seems more simple but we are not sure what information we should be using now because both are applicable

Hopefully we will sort this out. I just thought maybe somebody went through this and could share their experience...

Yes, it's easier, my mistake, I forgot that as a non-UE married with a UE citizen you can receive the residency status much easier.
It's quite easy, you will need:
- a private health insurance (if you have the European Health Card issued in UK it' fine)
- bank statement (you should have at least 200 euro in your account)
