Fiber optic and bio medical related jobs in Saudia

Are there any fiber optic or bio medial engineering jobs in Saudia?
Like they need a supervisor who can lay optical fiber network or a technician?
And bio medical engineering is about fixing, maintaining, procuring medical instruments and related stuff.
Actually I know two persons who are expert in these fields and they wanted to know if there is scope for these kind of jobs here.

While I was in NED, one of our teachers left for Jeddah for a bio-medical engineering job. Didn't hear of him ever again. Anyways my point here is: such jobs do & must exist.

Fiber optics is covered by networking (IT) professionals. I wonder who'd need specialists. I mean it's one of simple sub-sciences.

Yaar the guy who is bio medical engineer is in very bad shape these days. He has actually worked in Saudia for a few years with Ministry of health but had to come back to Pakistan due to some personal issues and then after that his life has been going downhill. His wife has left him taking kids with her.
He is now currently working in a photostate shop making CVs for other people. Can you imagine a bio medical enginner with Saudia and UAE work experience working in a photostate shop???

And that fiber optic guy is former Pakistan Air Force employee. Very experienced guy.
